Pick — Color Picker & Eyedropper — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-20 · Dolphin Studio LLC, Wisconsin, USA

Short version: Pick collects nothing and sends nothing. Everything happens locally in the extension popup on your device.

Data we collect

None. Pick does not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. It makes no network requests of any kind.

Permissions

Pick requests a single permission, storage, used only to remember your recent colors and last selection on your own device so the palette persists between opens. This data stays in your browser's local storage; it is never transmitted and we cannot see it. Pick requests no host permissions and runs no content scripts — it cannot read the pages you visit.

Eyedropper

The "Pick from screen" feature uses your browser's built-in EyeDropper API. When you use it, the color you click is read locally and shown in the popup. No screenshot is stored or sent anywhere.

Clipboard

When you click a copy button, the color value is placed on your system clipboard only. Pick does not read your clipboard.

Third parties & analytics

None. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no external SDKs, no remote code.
